Praise Ministry
Discover the Ministries Shaping Lives and Advancing the Kingdom.
The Army of Praise Ministry is a vibrant and Spirit-led worship ministry dedicated to glorifying God, ushering His people into His presence, and raising a generation of true worshippers who worship Him in spirit and in truth. Our mission is not merely to sing songs, but to cultivate a lifestyle of worship that reflects the heart, character, and nature of Christ.
Our Vision Is To:
- Sing forth the honour of God’s Name and make His praise glorious while leading His children into His glorious presence.
- Raise true worshippers who will not only sing about God but will live lives that reflect genuine worship through their conduct, character, and obedience.
- Lead people into an authentic, life-transforming relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Break spiritual chains, barriers, and strongholds that hinder people from experiencing true worship and intimacy with God.
- Spread the spirit of worship throughout communities, cities, and nations, bringing revival and spiritual awakening.
- Create an atmosphere where God’s presence is welcomed, His power is manifested, and lives are transformed.
Worship is far more than music or singing; it is an expression of love, reverence, and complete devotion to God our Father. It is giving the highest honour and adoration to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. As believers, we are called to worship God in spirit and in truth, according to the words of Jesus in John 4:23-24. True worship flows from a heart that has encountered God and desires to glorify Him above all else.
At the heart of this ministry is the understanding that worship is a lifestyle. It is not confined to church services, worship gatherings, or special events. True worship begins with surrender. It is the daily decision to lay down our own desires, ambitions, and will in exchange for God’s purpose and plan for our lives. Worship is dying to self so that Christ may be fully revealed through us.
Worship is also a place of intimacy with the Father. It is a sacred moment of fellowship (Koinonia) with God Almighty where hearts are united with His heart. In His presence, burdens are lifted, lives are renewed, and destinies are transformed. Through worship, we draw near to God, and He draws near to us.
As worshippers, our responsibility is to point people to Jesus Christ. We understand that worship is never about personal recognition, talent, or performance. Rather, it is about exalting Christ and creating an atmosphere where people can encounter His presence, hear His voice, and experience His transforming power. Our desire is that every song, every prayer, and every act of worship directs hearts toward the Savior.
True worship involves much more than external expressions. It requires an inward transformation of the human heart through faith in Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross. God is not merely seeking outward demonstrations of worship; He is searching for hearts that have been converted, renewed, and transformed by His Spirit. External worship practices alone are insufficient if the heart remains distant from God.
When Christ dwells within us through the Holy Spirit, worship becomes genuine and pleasing to God. The Holy Spirit empowers us to walk in obedience, holiness, and righteousness, making our entire lives an offering of worship before the Lord. God desires worshippers whose lives reflect His glory not only in public worship but also in private devotion and daily living.
Throughout Scripture, we see the extraordinary power of worship. Worship has repeatedly been used by God as a weapon of victory, breakthrough, and deliverance. In Joshua chapter 6, the walls of Jericho fell as God’s people obeyed Him through praise and worship. In 2 Chronicles chapter 20, King Jehoshaphat appointed worshippers to go before the army, and as they began to praise the Lord, God set ambushes against their enemies and granted them victory.
Likewise, in Acts 16:24-26, Paul and Silas prayed and worshipped God while imprisoned. Their worship shook the foundations of the prison, broke every chain, opened every door, and brought salvation to those around them. These examples remind us that worship is not merely an act of devotion—it is a powerful spiritual force through which God releases His power, brings victory, and accomplishes His purposes.
As members of the Army of Praise, we believe that worship has the power to heal hearts, restore hope, bring freedom to captives, and usher people into life-changing encounters with God. Wherever genuine worship rises, God’s presence is manifested, and where God’s presence is revealed, transformation inevitably follows.
To become a true worshipper, one must intentionally cultivate a deeper relationship with God. This involves spending time in prayer, studying and meditating on God’s Word, living a life of holiness and righteousness, following the leading of the Holy Spirit, maintaining humility, and remaining teachable before God and others.
The more we seek God, the more clearly we hear His voice. He instructs, guides, corrects, and directs our paths. As our spirit aligns with His will, we become increasingly sensitive to the Holy Spirit and better equipped to fulfil His purpose for our lives. Through this intimate relationship with God, we experience the supernatural manifestation of His presence, power, wisdom, and glory.
The Army of Praise Ministry is committed to raising worshippers who will carry God’s presence wherever they go and impact their generation for Christ. We believe that through worship, revival can be ignited, communities can be transformed, nations can be awakened, and God’s Kingdom can be advanced throughout the earth.
As we continually seek God’s face and surrender our lives to Him, we are confident that His power will move mightily among His people. We invite you to join us on this journey of worship, intimacy, and transformation. As you draw closer to God, your life will never remain the same, and you will experience the fullness of His love, purpose, and glory.
